Smith & Nephew Skin-Prep™ is a liquid film-forming skin barrier wipe designed to protect skin, reduce friction, and improve adhesion of tapes, dressings, and ostomy appliances. Each individual foil packet delivers a fast-drying, protective film that shields the skin from moisture, adhesive trauma, and shear — making it an essential prep step before applying any adhesive wound dressing or securement device.

The flexible film conforms easily to contoured and rounded surfaces including knees, elbows, and joints, and removes cleanly with soap and water or a standard skin cleanser — leaving no residue that could compromise the next dressing application.
