Aquacel Extra (Cat. 420674) by ConvaTec is an advanced Hydrofiber wound dressing composed of two layers of sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) stitched together. This dual-layer construction makes it nine times stronger and provides 39% greater absorbency compared to the original Aquacel dressing, making it specifically suited for moderate to highly exuding wounds where standard Hydrofiber dressings may be insufficient.
