3M™ Adaptic™ Oil Emulsion Impregnated Non-Adherent Dressing is a sterile wound contact layer made with knitted cellulose acetate and a petrolatum oil emulsion. This 3 x 3 inch dressing helps protect the wound surface while allowing exudate to pass through to a secondary absorbent dressing.

Non-Adherent Wound Contact Layer

Adaptic dressing is designed to help reduce sticking to the wound bed during dressing changes. The petrolatum oil emulsion helps keep the wound surface moist and supports a lower-trauma dressing change experience for patients with fragile or sensitive tissue.

Trimmable Dressing for Irregular Wound Areas

This oil emulsion dressing can be cut or trimmed to fit different wound shapes without unraveling or shredding. It is used in wound care settings for first- and second-degree burns, skin grafts, donor sites, lacerations, abrasions, surgical incisions, venous ulcers, decubitus ulcers, nail procedures, staple lines, suture lines, and dermatological conditions.
