3M Adaptic Oil Emulsion Impregnated Non-Adherent Dressing is a sterile wound contact layer made with knitted cellulose acetate and a petrolatum oil emulsion. This 3 x 3 inch dressing helps protect the wound surface while allowing exudate to pass through to a secondary absorbent dressing. Adaptic dressing is designed to help reduce sticking to the wound bed during dressing changes. The petrolatum oil emulsion helps keep the wound surface moist and supports a lower-trauma dressing change experience for patients with fragile or sensitive tissue. MFR # 2012.
