Adaptic™ is a knitted cellulose acetate dressing impregnated with a petrolatum oil emulsion, creating a non-adherent wound contact layer that allows exudate to pass freely through to the secondary absorbent dressing. The petrolatum emulsion keeps the wound surface moist, prevents the dressing from drying out and adhering to the wound bed, and supports a low-trauma dressing change experience for patients with fragile or sensitive tissue.

Adaptic can be cut or trimmed to any shape without unraveling or shredding, making it highly adaptable for irregular wound geometries, skin graft sites, and difficult-to-dress areas.
