The Katz Extractor (FB 5000) by Inhealth Technologies is a single-use, balloon-tipped device designed for safe and atraumatic removal of foreign bodies from the nasal passages and external ear canal. Its low-profile balloon tip is advanced past the foreign object, inflated, and then withdrawn to dislodge and extract the object without the need for forceps or hooks that can push objects deeper or cause mucosal trauma.
