The red conventional closure and silicone coated tube interior are consistent with standard serum tube identification and handling protocols in clinical laboratories.

Clot Activator for Reliable Serum Collection

The clot activator additive promotes rapid, complete clot formation after blood collection, reducing the time required before centrifugation and minimizing the risk of fibrin formation in the serum fraction. The silicone coated tube interior supports consistent clot formation and minimizes cellular activation during collection and transport. These 10 mL serum tubes are not recommended for blood bank use.

Red Conventional Closure in a Large-Volume Format

The red conventional closure is the recognized color code for clot activator serum tubes in the conventional closure format.
